happy dog, happy human
dog training in Longmont, Colorado
meet our trainer, Carly Shivers
All dogs must have a human handler 18 years of age or older.
If you are booking spots for multiple dogs, you’ll complete the registration process for each dog.
All the people in your home / life old enough to be involved regularly in your dog’s training are encouraged to come to all classes. Well behaved children are always welcome, though the class is geared toward adult learning. If you have multiple adults and some will come and go throughout the series, you need one person to come to every single class so that at least one brain heard it all. We recommend that person be your smartest person in your household. This is high level stuff and this one brain will have to put it all together at home for everyone.
Class registrations are non-refundable, so make sure in advance that your choice works with your schedule. It is highly advisable that you pick a class where you can come to all 8 classes in your series in order, as the learning builds on the last class. While you must come to classes 1 & 2 to stay in a series, the first four classes are very important to the new high level behavior education you will be learning, so if you must miss a class we strongly advise to pick a series where that miss would be in classes 5-8. We do offer makeup opportunities for missed classes, but since all classes series are running on a staggered schedule, makeup classes will not be in order.
YOU MUST COME TO THE FIRST & SECOND CLASSES OF FOUNDATION CLASSES IN ORDER TO STAY ENROLLED IN THE CLASS SERIES – if you miss the first or second class you can’t take the others in that series, so choose wisely and come to class!
