Also, in case you think your dog is too unruly for a class or maybe you’ve been kicked out of a class elsewhere – this is the place for you! While some dogs may have a more easygoing personality than others, no dog is beyond learning, and you will never be sent away from High Drive Dog Company training because your dog is too bad.
Group Classes at High Drive Dog Company
It’s 2500 square feet of training space, with wall to wall 3/4″ recycled rubber flooring, dedicated to teaching dogs and their people how to get the most out of life together.
The results speak for themselves: a true partnership with your dog where they listen and respond with one command (in a normal tone of voice) and you both learn to build on it with distance, distraction, and duration. Want to see her hold a sit while a squirrel walks by and you’re 20 feet away? How about pizza deliveries to your home reimagined with a dog that knows Get Out at the door means just stand back and be normal while we open the door and get the pizza like normal people, no big deal… instead of barking and jumping like a lunatic when the doorbell rings!
It’s not magic, it’s training. It’s building communication with your dog that makes sense to them, teaching them right from wrong and accountability for making good choices. It’s teaching them to think, to use their brains, and it’s truly an amazing relationship to have with your dog! That thing your dog does that you wish they didn’t – it’s probably a bad habit they picked up because no one has yet taught them how to be successful in this world with us. No one (dogs or people) comes out of the womb automatically understanding what to do for a successful life, and it’s our job to teach our dogs how to best live with us. High Drive Dog Company is balanced training teaching you to meaningfully communicate with your dog in a way they understand, to build a partnership and quality of life the two of you will cherish for years to come.
HIGH DRIVE FOUNDATION

Advanced Drop-in has the prerequisite of High Drive Foundation.
This is where the amazing stuff really starts to happen! Advanced work is all about taking that foundation and adding the three Ds: Distance, Distraction, and Duration. Your dog will learn how to hold position – sit, down, place – while you walk away; they’ll learn how to hold these positions while other people come up to greet you both; they’ll learn to hold these positions for longer periods of time. Additionally we’ll build distance going to place, start long line work on recall, and introduce the process toward off leash heeling – all while learning to build and utilize your dog’s drive to cement these behaviors. Seeing it all come together and the wheels start turning in your dog’s brain is the most fun of all.
