Our part time and full time shifts include working directly with the dogs in our care, including our rescue dogs looking for homes and our client dogs who are staying in our kennels for boarding, daycare, or Board & Train. Working for us also consists of responsibilities such as cleaning kennels, doing laundry, doing dishes, and other tasks to keep our kennels running smoothly.
New: High Drive Part Time Relief Crew
We are excited to announce a new way to be a part of the High Drive Team with the new High Drive Part-time Relief Crew, helping to improve and save the lives of client and rescue dogs every day. Covid has given us the opportunity to test out this new program and see the success and benefit to all the dogs in our care, so we are now ready to open it to any of our clients who are interested in supplementing their income while expanding their knowledge in the training & behavior work we do at High Drive.
This program started with our friend, Justin, an accomplished sound engineer used to traveling lots with major concert tours, who found himself stuck at home for the last year. Then the part-time relief crew expanded to include two teachers, as well. We think we’ve hit on something some in our High Drive community would enjoy being a part of, so we are officially making this opportunity available to all High Drive clients: come help us do this important work with both our client dogs and the 40+ rescue residents relying on us to care for them physically and mentally each day.
We only hire from our client pool, so you need to be a past or present client for consideration. This way we know you understand what we do and have some foundation of skills already, as well as the compassion without coddling to truly help these pups learn to be and remain stable, balanced, confident beings. They are counting on us!

Part Time Opportunities
Pay rate: Starts at $17/hour with room for growth.
Shifts include: Daily closing shifts 5:30-8:30pm; weekend opening shifts 7-11am; and daily midday shifts 10am-2pm & 12-4pm.
We ask that part-time employees work a minimum of 2 shifts a week (more is also welcome!) to keep current on ever changing medical and behavioral needs for continuity of care of all dogs staying in our kennels. The training & behavior standards taught in class are maintained. We only hire from our client pool, so to be considered as a candidate you need to have taken a class with Carly. Full Time Opportunities
Pay rate: Starts at $45,000/year with room for growth.
Full-time positions are our core staff. It’s fast paced work with ever changing details, lots of standing and walking, and teaching and maintaining all training & behavior standards taught in class to lots of dogs in our care.
